Inspired by the unforgettable Australian television commercial for Antz Pantz, this artwork pays tribute to one of Australia's most iconic and cheeky advertising moments.

In the advertisement, ants crawl across model Toneya Bird's legs before she delivers the memorable line, "Sic 'em Rex," unleashing her pet echidna and securing the campaign's place in Australian pop culture history. Equal parts humorous and daring, it captured the playful irreverence of its era.

Reimagined through bold colour and contemporary pop-art styling, this work celebrates nostalgia, confidence and Australian identity. It's a playful nod to a campaign many Australians instantly recognise, transformed into a celebration of fearless femininity, humour and the enduring power of iconic imagery.
